Dear Viriditas Community,

Ahhh, how I love Thanksgiving! I will be celebrating the holiday with David and three of our children and their friends. How grateful I am. I hope you will be connecting deeply with your loved ones during this heartwarming time of year.

The transition from the Viriditas Studio to the Viriditas Home Studio continues. I have recently created a beautiful sacred space for private sessions within my home. It’s a quiet and intimate space supporting a calm, relaxing, and safe environment for our work together.

Do you feel something is getting in the way of you having your best life?

Are you not quite clear on your divine purpose in life? What’s getting in your way?

Do you have the tools needed to remove any obstacles and to thrive in your life?

These are questions we can explore together in a private session in person or by phone or Skype.  I can offer specific spiritual practices to support your unique situation. I offer free 15-minute phone sessions to give you an opportunity to experience this work with me. Then, if you choose to continue forward, we will schedule a 45-minute session. Contact me via email at if you would like to schedule a time for a free 15-minute phone session. You can find more information here.

The last Healing with Mantra group session for 2017 coming up in early December will focus on the crown chakra. The crown chakra, located at the top of the head, connects us to the divine. It is the source of our connection to the divine energy of creation and to our higher self. Also to the experience that we are one with everyone and everything in nature. The crown chakra, when open, radiates as a lotus flower with one thousand violet or white petals.

Join David and me on December 2nd, 3:30-5 pm at the Viriditas Home Studio at 800 Zamia Ave.  We’ll invoke the sacred energy of Brahman, the Divine Presence that is everywhere and in everything, to heal the crown chakra with mantra.

You’re welcome to join us for this one even if you didn’t make it to the past sessions. An excellent time to center yourself before the holidays. Tickets are available here.

Opening to love and compassion with the heart chakra

The mantra for the heart chakra (the fourth chakra) is available in my Free Healing Library. You can listen and chant along with the audio to support you in your practice at home in opening to love and compassion for yourself and others in your life.

Here is a quick look and reminder ofhealing the heart chakra. It can be used with the Free Healing Library audio of the mantra, invoking the god Krishna.

Healing with Mantra – All 7 Chakras

The Healing with Mantra Guidebook will be an easy-to-use guide that will be available in January/February.  It will provide you support in strengthening your practice at home in this healing work. At your own pace, on your own schedule.

The first section on the root chakra as well as the accompanying audio will be made available to you FREE, for you to preview and use in December.

Fox Institute For Creation Spirituality

The Fox Institute is thriving and David and I are happily preparing the two classes we will be teaching in February and March. I have included below a brief picture of the second path of four on the journey of inner work within Creation Spirituality.  This is the foundation of the Introduction to Creation Spirituality class that David and I will be teaching at the Fox Institute in February. Take a moment to be introduced to the Via Negativa.

In Viriditas,

PS If you missed the post and review of the solar plexus chakra last week, you can still find it here. Use the Free Healing Library audio of the mantra invoking Durga to find your power, your strength, and your courage.

The Second Path of Creation Spirituality

The second of the 4 paths of Creation Spirituality is the Via Negativa. This is the path of darkness and silence, the path of grief and hitting bottom.

This pain that we experience can carry us to the depths. It can crack us open and stir things up.

The Via Negativa is also about stepping into the silence, in solitude. Letting go of all input from the outer and inner worlds. The place where we go in meditation.

Moving into the silence calms and centers us so that we can tap into that powerful force of Compassion. By being in touch with our own pain we can understand others and their pain with empathy —but only if we have learned to let go and let be.

An emptying occurs in the Via Negativa.  Within the emptiness, a deep power of listening emerges. A listening of both the heart and head.

A listening to our true self. A listening of what the world speaks to us.
